Job description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Purchase Manager. As a Purchase Manager, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, including identifying and selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts and prices, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
Requirements:
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration
supply chain management
or a related field. Minimum of 1 years of experience in procurement management
including experience with supplier management
negotiation
and logistics. Strong negotiation and communication skills
with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
with the ability to analyze data and make strategic recommendations. Knowledge of procurement regulations
international trade agreements
and licensing requirements. Strong organizational skills
with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and procurement management software. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Identify and select suppliers, and negotiate contracts and prices to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with regulations and procedures.
Coordinate with internal teams, including logistics, production, and finance, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
Monitor and analyze supplier performance, including on-time delivery, quality control, and cost-effectiveness, and make recommendations for improvements.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, including visiting supplier sites, attending trade shows, and networking with industry contacts.
Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and products, and make recommendations to management for expanding our supplier portfolio.
Manage the procurement budget, including forecasting costs, tracking expenses, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including procurement regulations, trade agreements, and licensing requirements.
Train and supervise procurement team members, including providing coaching and feedback to ensure excellent performance and adherence to policies and procedures.
