Job description
We are seeking an experienced Purchase Manager with a background in the food industry to oversee purchasing operations for the hotel. As a Purchase Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing food products, and supplies while ensuring they meet quality standards and are within budget.
Requirements:
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
Hospitality Management
or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in food purchasing in the hotel or food industry. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Knowledge of food safety and quality standards. Ability to analyze purchasing data and make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work flexible hours

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet the hotel's food and supply needs.
Identify and source suppliers that meet quality standards and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors and monitor their performance to ensure the timely delivery of quality products.
Develop and maintain purchasing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Forecast demand for food and supply products and manage inventory levels to ensure availability.
Work with chefs and kitchen staff to develop menus and source high-quality ingredients.
Analyze purchasing data and make recommendations for process improvements and cost savings.
Manage the purchasing budget and report on financial performance to senior management.
Ensure all purchasing operations are conducted ethically and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
